Welcome to the big survey!

Since Young Chelsea became a member-owned and member-operated Club in 2005 the Management Committee has operated on a totally voluntary basis to run the place in the interests of the membership at large - relying on good sense, informal soundings and feedback at the AGM.

We have aimed to keep the Club going with the “YC Spirit” in which it was created by our founder Warwick Pitch. We are now at a new major decision point – prompted by the renegotiation of our lease and our decision that the Club will move premises by 2013.

What a great opportunity to ask the members and regular visitors to tell us what they would like.

What could the Club do for you that isn’t already provided?

What aspects of the Club and its facilities are of no
value/interest to you?

What do you suggest we do to help keep this member-operated
Club strong and relevant?

Where do you think the Club should be located?

End date for the survey was 1 August 2010, and it was completed by 126 members & former members.

Your feedback will have a major impact on renewing the “YC Spirit”, developing a new strategy for the Club and using this to influence the Big Move.

The survey findings are now available to be downloaded. Actions suggested by these findings will be discussed at the AGM on Tuesday 26th October at 6.30, which all members are encouraged to attend.

* All those who answered the * questions in the survey by end of 28 July and gave us their email address went into the “hat”. First name out of the hat was Pauline Cohen, a fairly recent member, who gets £100 voucher to spend at the Club.
