A Successful Members Bridge Club
Here are some features that we think would demonstrate our success as a club:
a steady growth in its membership and the amount of bridge being played
members enjoy each others company as well as playing bridge
the better players spend time with the developing players
playing or discussing the game
there is a varied and interesting programme of events and activities
visitors are made to feel welcome and are inspired to become members too
members introduce others who are good players and pleasant company
members contribute their time and expertise to the club
those members who can afford it voluntarily make donations to support the club
there is modern playing equipment and supporting facilities (eg catering) to suit a wide range of tastes
our surroundings encourage the EBU, LMBA and other organisations to use the premises
the management works with other bridge clubs to encourage the growth of duplicate bridge
