A letter from the Chairman of the Management Committee

The Management Committee is pleased to announce that the search for a new Club Manager is over.
This has been a matter of some concern, because the club has not had a full-time employee to look after club matters since Dom Goodwin left. The pressure on Warwick has been immense, holding the fort on a daily basis. For some months, Gordon Rainsford has been helping on the financial and organisational side on a part-time basis.
From 1st August 2006, Gordon will become full-time Club Manager.
The Management Committee is delighted at this appointment. Gordon has proved himself capable both in the office and as a tournament director. The Management Committee is confident that he will extend his range efficiently, and wishes him luck.
