The Young Chelsea Knockout 2004-2005
This year 34 teams entered the Young Chelsea Knockout Cup, and the format of the competition is a straight knockout. The teams were drawn into 16 matches with 2 additional preliminary matches.
Janet de Botton's team was the first to reach the final, having
convincingly beaten Gary Jones' unseeded team, and they have now won the
whole event, having beaten Richard Probst's team who conceded after
40 boards when 62 IMPs down.
